Introduction of plastic film materials
As a kind of printing material, plastic film has a short history. As a packaging material after printing, it has the advantages of light and transparent, moisture and oxygen resistance, good air tightness, toughness and folding resistance, smooth surface, can protect goods, and can reproduce the shape and color of goods. With the development of petrochemical industry, there are more and more kinds of plastic film.
The types of plastic film materials are as follows:
Commonly used plastic films are polyethylene (PE), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polystyrene, polyester film (PET), polypropylene (PP), nylon, etc.
Different properties of various plastic film, printing difficulty is also different, as a packaging material use is also different.
Polyethylene film is a kind of colorless, odorless, odorless, translucent non-toxic insulating material, which is widely used as packaging bags; food bags, can also be made into various containers. It is an inert material, so it is difficult to print. It must be treated before printing.
PVC thin film is a clean, colorless and transparent film with good light and aging resistance and good tear resistance. It can be dissolved in acetone, cyclohexanone and other solvents. Therefore, it can be printed with the ink made of PVC resin. Suitable for packing bags, book covers, etc.
